Hey Brent, Nice picture. You got it exactly. The cable will work just fine. It barely long enough. Dont run it under the intake manifold thought. Just run it along next to the starter and then up over the manifold and around to the stock subaru shield bracket. I don't think it will work if it runs under the intake. Don't forget that the lever on the side of the transmission needs to be able to move all the way forward and then "click". THat is the kickdown that makes the trans downshift. At this point the throttle body should be wide open. Also check that it's fully closed at rest. It can be adjusted both at the trans and at the engine. I'd really like it if you could send me some pics of it installed if you have a motor and trans out of the car. Thanks, Seth
