On the ECU on terminal D19 there is a R/Y wire that acts as a ground for the trouble light. So you need a +'ve on the other terminal of a light. Get his from the small Y circuit which is ignition on. ************************************************************** According to Kennedy instructions after "identify[ing] all black wires that are not to be grounded ... The black and the black/red wires, not identified above ...provide a separate pair of ground wires to engine and to chassis ground." This implies that all other black and black/red wires are to be grounded. And would also include the following black: a9 air flow meter b2 throttle position b5 camshaft angle c1 crankshaft angle c4 knock sensor Are these to be grounded? I certainly am not a whiz at auto electric and appreciate the feedback. Thanks. [[[[[a9 is signal for the air flow sensor, it shouldn't be grounded. It should only connect the computer to the air flow sensor, no other connections. b2 is signal for the throttle sensor, it should only connect the computer to the throttle sensor, no other connections. b5 is signal for the turbo cam angle sensor, it should only connect the computer to the cam angle sensor, no other connections. c1 is the crank angle sensor, it should only connect the computer to the crank sensor and shouldn't be grounded and shouldn't connect to anything else. c4 is shield for the knock sensor. It is grounded inside the computer and that is enough ,grounding it separately may make problems. The knock sensors(well, all of the sensors) are very touchy and can make the engine run poorly if the computer isn't getting the proper signal here. A bad knock sensor can make your engine run poorly, I checked mine with a Ohm meter and it was bad, I had to replace this before my van would run properly.]]]]] ************************************************************** On Sat, 05 Jun 2004 15:59:57 -0600, mike blotz
